Job summary

Impellam Group is seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned projects from budgeting through closeout. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver on time and within budget, with emphasis on safety, planning, and contract administration.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 15+ years of experience in Transmission & Substation projects, with PMP preferred. The position sits in Florida and engages with senior leadership on challenging project issues.

• 15+ years of experience leading transmission & substations or related projects.
• High-level engineering and project management expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams to execute projects within approved budgets and schedules.
• Oversee safety, schedule, and budget management for assigned projects.
• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and monthly spend reports; ensure timely project closeout and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with FERC regulations and contract administration responsibilities.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to resolve project challenges and align with schedules.

The Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of assigned projects from budgetary approval until project completion and closeout. This role will lead cross-functional project teams to execute projects according to approved budgets and schedules.

Requirements - education & experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
• 15 or more years of experience leading Transmission & Substation or related projects
• High-level engineering and project management expertise

Nice-to-have / preferred skills

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
