Base pay range

$18.00/hr - $49.00/hr

Requirements
  • One year previous management experience in retail, preferably in wireless. (Required)
  • Ability to lead and coach to deliver financial results.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check (qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered in accordance with applicable laws).
  • High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years old.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Knowledge of T-Mobile products, services, policies, systems, etc. preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-suite.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train others and adapt to different learning styles.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain knowledge of store sales and operations to assist team members.
  • Explain Mobile Expert pay thoroughly and accurately.
  • Recruit, interview, and retain staff.

Job Summary

The Manager in Training (MIT) program is a 90-day blended-learning program designed to immerse managers in all aspects of managing a T-Mobile Premium Retail Store. Training occurs in-store and covers store operations, staffing, and leadership development. Successful completion leads to a Retail Store Manager role.

Manager in Training Responsibilities
  • Manage guest services, store operations, sales, profitability, merchandise, inventory, expenses, HR, and costs.
  • Handle hiring, scheduling, training, marketing, loss prevention, and team leadership.
  • Serve as the primary contact for store employees.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Manage store productivity and results based on KPIs.
  • Hire and develop Sales Associates.
  • Train staff on store systems and customer experience.
  • Create a positive environment aligned with MobileOne's values.
  • Coach staff to build customer relationships and deliver excellent service.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually engaging store environment.
  • Stay updated on T-Mobile products and sales techniques.
  • Ensure customer needs are met and onboarding is thorough.
  • Utilize tools to develop internal talent.
  • Drive operational efficiencies and protect store assets.
Pay

$18.22 - $49.17 per hour, including potential store bonuses.
