Job Overview

The Retail Associate Manager works in partnership with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team to deliver T-Mobile’s aspirations of earning a place in our customers’ hearts and Mobile Associate success.

Job Responsibilities :
  1. Infuse every store’s Mobile Associates with a passion for T-Mobile’s Manifesto by orienting and grounding them to a standard of Loving Our Customers.
  2. Ensure customer needs are met and that employees build customer confidence by making their experience comfortable, simple, and solving the whole problem.
  3. Observe Mobile Associates’ interactions with customers, including providing feedback for development, training, and coaching.
  4. Manage customer wait times effectively. Stay current on products, services, and promotions.
  5. Lead by example, staying updated on the latest products, services, training, and leadership best practices. Interact directly with Mobile Associates to ensure they meet or exceed success measurements and complete training on time.
  6. Assist in maintaining the store environment quality and adhere to national plan-o-gram standards. Use visual displays and interactive devices effectively, keeping them current. Assist in executing Retail Methods & Procedures.
  7. Ensure team knowledge of store systems and communications. Deliver financial results based on KPIs. Identify ways to manage and control store expenses, including discounting and credits.
The experience you’ll bring :
  1. At least 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred.
  2. Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
  3. Ability to lead and mentor teams to deliver results.
  4. Outstanding communication skills for interacting with teammates and customers.
