Job summary

AES Corporation's US Transmission and Distribution teams in Indiana and Ohio seek a Project Planning Engineer to develop long-term maintenance and investment project plans for the capital budget. Under supervision, you will shape scope, cost estimates, and schedules for capital investments such as asset replacements, maintenance, Smart Grid, and DER integration.

Responsibilities include creating scope documents, building business cases, and guiding projects through procurement and scheduling

Qualifications

Four year college degree in engineering, construction management, finance, or related field.
Applicable experience in place of a degree will be considered.
Languages - English. Spanish is a put.

Responsibilities

Create scope of work documents, cost estimates, and schedules for assigned projects engaging engineering and other SME’s as required.
Build the project business case using reliability, integrated system planning, and other inputs.
Provide bid specifications to Supply Chain in accordance with the procurement process.
Compile detailed work plans for the Project Management Organization, Engineering, and Operations teams to execute.
Utilize Management of Change and Asset Governance processes for controlling the modification of equipment, systems, and processes.
