Job summary

The Beirne B. Carter Immunology Center at UVA is seeking a Research Scientist (postdoctoral scholar with 3+ years related experience) to work on novel pre-clinical cancer models and immunotherapy projects in human ovarian cancer biospecimens.

The role includes publishing results, developing new research programs, mentoring staff, attending seminars, and collaborating across MIC, CIC, and Cancer Center, with NIH fellowship eligibility helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• Requires a doctoral degree or master’s degree with significant experience.
• Experience in immunology, genetic engineering, and cancer biology is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to collaborate across teams.
