M1 Support Services, LP in Columbus, MS is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic for T-6 Flightline duties. You will perform maintenance, repair, inspections (preflight to BPO), service aircraft for flight, and coordinate with senior staff.

Candidates should have jet aircraft systems knowledge, tool proficiency, and the ability to read technical data. High school diploma and aviation maintenance training or equivalent required; U.S. work authorization and TDY flexibility may apply.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of jet aircraft systems and use of common/special tools.
• Understanding of aircraft maintenance safety requirements and portable firefighting equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Minimum 12 months experience as aircraft mechanic or equivalent in maintenance.
• Completion of military or civilian aviation maintenance school or equivalent required.
• In lieu of formal training, 18 months aviation maintenance experience with 6 months BPO or certification; Air Force 3 Level CDC preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform maintenance and repair of assigned aircraft.
• Coordinate maintenance with senior section personnel.
• Complete inspections (preflight, thru flight, BPO).
• Service aircraft for flight and conduct launches/recovers.
• Use diagrams, drawings, and publications to service systems/components.
• Maintain CAMS documentation and records.
