Job summary

M1 Support Services in Columbus, MS is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic T-6 Flightline to perform maintenance and repair of assigned aircraft, coordinate activities, and ensure inspections are completed to safety standards. You will service aircraft, launch and recover aircraft, and document actions in CAMS while adhering to FOD prevention and tool-control practices.

Required is a high school diploma or equivalent and 12 months of aircraft maintenance experience; completion of aviation maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 12 months experience as an aircraft mechanic or equivalent.
• Completion of aviation maintenance school with a diploma or certificate.
• In lieu of formal training, 18 months of aviation maintenance experience with 6 months of BPO experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repair of assigned aircraft.
• Coordinates maintenance activities with senior section personnel.
• Accomplishes inspections including preflight, thru flight and BPO.
• Services aircraft as required for flight.
• Launches and recovers aircraft as required.
