Job summary

Nova Biomedical in Massachusetts seeks a Systems Engineering Co-op to support the Mechanical and Test engineering teams. The role focuses on testing equipment under development and sustaining engineering tasks, reporting to the Test Supervisor who guides protocol creation and execution.

You may assist with design or assembly work, create Engineering Test Protocols, run tests, analyze data, write test reports, troubleshoot analyzers, and build fixtures. Onsite in Waltham, MA.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
• Experience with SolidWorks is desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating Engineering Test Protocols to support engineering teams.
• Execute test protocols using Nova Biomedical analyzers or lab equipment.
• Analyze data and write Engineering Test Reports.
• Troubleshoot analyzers during test execution.
• Build devices or test fixtures to support the engineering team.
• Write Engineering Change Orders or Manufacturing Variances.
• Design test fixtures or jigs to support development.
• Other duties as assigned.
