• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across the acquisition community for comprehensive Test and Evaluations.
• Identify, document, and analyze test results to uncover issues and drive corrective actions.

About the Position: Systems/Test Engineer supports Army Product Developer (PD) organization based at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD and optimizes our life-cycle engineering/sustainment functions by combining field system sustainment with current operations in quick reaction, urgent operational needs, and direct field support mission areas into the same portfolio of responsibility. A skilled and experienced Systems/Test Engineer is sought to join our team in support of critical defense acquisition programs. The successful candidate will have extensive expertise in test engineering, including knowledge of DoDI 5000 and the Defense Acquisition System, DA PAM 73-1, IEEE-29148 and will contribute to the design, execution, and evaluation of comprehensive testing strategies. This role also involves utilizing cutting-edge tools and technologies, such as MATLAB, Python and other relevant software, to analyze data received from various sensors. Duties Developing, planning, integration, coordinating, and executing integrated based evaluations for the Army's Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems that aligns with program requirements, and applicable regulation. Provides Army material acquisition leaders independent System Evaluation Plans/Reports or System Assessments on the operational effectiveness, suitability, and survivability of equipment used by contractors, soldiers, and foreign partners. Develops test strategies, test and evaluation plans and concepts; coordinates with Operational Test Command, Capabilities Managers, and Program Managers to ensure completeness of test events and test reports. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team of military and civilian stakeholders from across the acquisition community to ensure comprehensive Test and Evaluations. The incumbent shall keep abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in test engineering to enhance test methods and tools. The incumbent shall be able to identify, document, and analyze test results to uncover issues; collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and implement corrective actions.
