Job summary

Albireo Energy is seeking a Systems Specialist II to assist in operating and supporting building automation systems in the Greater Birmingham area. The role involves troubleshooting field cabinets, sensors, and controllers, aiding network bring-up, and supporting programming and commissioning tasks.

Strong communication and documentation skills are essential for coordinating with senior technicians and customers.

Qualifications

• Equivalent experience, vocational school, or an Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair building-automation-system field cabinets, sensors, and related controls.
• Download modules and assist in bringing network online.
• Communicate technical issues to senior technicians.
• Maintain field markups and perform warranty related service calls.
• Assist with programming tasks related to system automation and optimization.
• Assist senior technicians in startup of systems and equipment.
• Document and demonstrate non-complex systems for commissioning and testing.
• Provide project demonstrations and training for customers.
• Create daily reports for Albireo project teams.
