Job summary

Dioxycle is seeking a hands-on engineer to advance carbon utilization technologies. Qualified candidates will contribute across electrical, mechanical, and lab tasks on-site at our San Francisco facility.

You will work with sensors, test benches, and a diverse team to deliver reliable lab outcomes, with 1+ year wet lab experience and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of wet lab experience with basic lab safety.
• Experience with Python, C, or similar languages.
• Familiarity with AC and DC electrical systems.
• Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and electronics troubleshooting.
• Basic mechanical knowledge for assembling and repairing components on test benches.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, on-site environment.
• Comfortable collaborating with international and diverse teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering degree, or similar experience
• Ability to lift 35 pounds and work independently in a dynamic environment with a proactive approach
• Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems
• Hands-on experience with sensors, actuator, and basic electronics troubleshooting
• Basic mechanical knowledge to assemble and repair components on test benches
• Comfortable working with international and diverse teams
• 1+ years of wet lab experience (internship, laboratory, or other) with an understanding of general chemical lab safety
• Experience with Python, C-code, or other languages
• Exemplary work ethic and self-driven attitude: you get things done fast and to a high standard and you don't drop the ball
