Job summary

ScriptPro is seeking a Systems Support Specialist to work with external customers, resolving live production issues and improving hardware performance. You will engage with customers and internal teams to raise the quality of service, focusing on uptime and satisfaction.

The role requires a blend of hands-on support, remote configurations, and field deployments, with a responsibility to document activities and maintain service levels. This hybrid position is based in Mission, KS.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or equivalent 2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with SQL Server administration (2000/2008/2012).
• Strong Windows OS knowledge (Win7/8/10).
• Experience with patch management and antivirus tools.
• Familiarity with remote support tools and networking basics.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize work.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience supporting proprietary software applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair ScriptPro systems and peripherals.

Job Summary:

The Systems Support Specialist works directly with external customers to resolve issues in live production environments. The ideal candidate will be able to work with customers to provide system support focused on improving hardware and system performance, as well as overall customer satisfaction. Candidates will be measured by their ability to resolve complex hardware and software issues while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Candidates will achieve these objectives through a combination of hands-on involvement with customers and internal technical teams.

Shift:

General business hours are Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm CST. This hybrid role requires a combination of weekly on-campus and remote work with specific days varying based on departmental policy and business need. Generally, all positions may be fully performed on-campus in Mission, KS. Regular, punctual, and predictable attendance is an essential function of every job at ScriptPro.

Scope of the Role:

• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair ScriptPro systems, hardware, computer peripherals, applications, and configurations
• Complete remote software configurations and upgrade support
• Configure, build, and image workstation drives for fielded systems and mobile devices
• Provide remote desktop support and network connectivity for field systems and mobile devices
• Assess system needs and recommend technical solutions such as patches, upgrades or enhancements
• Complete triage activities and troubleshoots complex problems
• Provide server operating system administration and support for physical and virtual server environments
• Support Windows Server updates, patching, and related maintenance activities
• Service, customize, and deploy software packages as needed
• Complete ticket documentation and tracking using Siebel with a high level of data quality
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related technical field or equivalent 2 years of related experience
• Basic SQL Server 2000/2008/2012/MDSE administration skills
• Advanced Windows OS Knowledge (Win 7/8/10)
• Working knowledge of desktop, mobile devices, and peripheral troubleshooting
• Experience with Windows Patch Management, Desktop Updates, and Anti-virus tools
• Basic understanding of connectivity and networking best practices
• Experience with a remote support tool (BOMGAR, Windows Remote Desktop, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision to set and prioritize work with a high level of detail
• Demonstrate proficiency supporting proprietary software applications
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to assess complex problems and identify root causes
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality support and positive outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences and stakeholders
• Ability to multitask with varying priorities and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), or equivalent IT certifications
• Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly outpatient pharmacy operations
• Multilingual skills in Spanish, Arabic, or French

Remote Work Requirements:

• Must have high-speed reliable internet access with a hard-wired connection
• Must have a distraction free home office workspace
• Must be willing to participate in video virtual meetings (camera on)
