Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking a qualified engineering technician to support electronics and systems evaluation in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting at subsystem and system levels, developing training plans, and contributing to documentation for engineering, manufacturing, or service teams. The candidate will perform hardware/software evaluations, provide technical assistance, and may travel to customer sites for installations and diagnostics as needed.

Qualifications

Associates degree or equivalent in electronics/engineering.
Technical certificate with electronics credits accepted.
High School diploma with 2 years electronics experience acceptable.
Ability to troubleshoot at subsystem/system level.
Ability to derive conclusions from test data and improve designs.

Responsibilities

Utilize initiative and independent judgment to construct and evaluate engineering models.
Troubleshoot across variables to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution; conduct experiments/tests as needed.
Evaluate software and hardware; implement plans using product knowledge and engineering tools.
Communicate technically to improve internal models and externally sourced components.
Provide evaluation feedback and leadership in documentation for engineering/manufacturing/services.
Develop and execute training plans as required.
Contribute individually to team goals.
Provide technical assistance by phone or in person to customers, field personnel, or suppliers.
May travel to customer sites for installations, diagnostics, and support.
Comply with EHS regulations and internal policies.
