Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to build, test, and refine hardware during development and release. You will work with engineers across the product lifecycle, assembling prototypes, executing tests, collecting data, and providing feedback.

You will collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Software Engineering, Support, and DVT, handle basic electronic rework, and help drive successful product releases.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building prototypes and hardware.
• Ability to run validation and reliability tests.
• Documentation of results and observations.
• Support cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot hardware issues and contribute to design improvements.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and modify prototypes and engineering samples.
• Support validation, testing, troubleshooting, and design improvements.
• Assemble cable assemblies using wire tools and crimpers.
• Fabricate simple mechanical components using drills and sheet metal tools.
• Document test results and provide feedback for product releases.
• Participate in pilot programs and hardware evaluations.
