Description

Acara Solutions is looking for a Systems Support Associate in the Pittsburgh, PA Area.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Pre-Implementation Coordination
    1. Monitoring of individual orders through OTIS.
    2. Confirm equipment orders are accurate & resolve issues with incorrect customer contact information or non-supported product.
    3. Validate site is ready for implementation (device installation complete, network drops, site readiness issues, building access, etc.).
    4. Confirm customer IT contact information.
    5. Contact customer IT resource and gather equipment configuration information.
    6. Schedule appointment for implementation/training with Customer contact.
  2. Implementation Coordination and Communication
    1. Confirm that equipment delivery date is accurate.
    2. Confirm appointment with IT contact prior to arriving for implementation.
    3. Complete implementation and provide operator training.
    4. Have customer complete/sign customer acceptance form confirming service was delivered.
  3. Administrative
    1. Time spent contacting customer, confirming, scheduling, and gathering information.
    2. Update, post, and review OTIS notes.
    3. Use of tools for role (OTIS, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook).
    4. Provide status on site completion CAF and OTIS updates.
  4. Workers must be able to travel if needed and expense their travel costs for reimbursement per the travel policy.
Primary Duties

SSAs will be trained to perform the following job duties:

  • Work with customer's IT department to add the copier device to their network for scanning.
  • Add print drivers to customer's network.
  • Set up customer's email.
  • Create accounting codes.

Create file pathways for scanning to network location.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Previous technical experience in networking and printing environment.
  • Working knowledge of basic PC hardware and software.
  • Knowledge of network devices (hubs, switches, routers).
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Good organizational skills: efficiently organize multiple coordination assignments and prioritize work.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including email, phone, reporting).
  • Ability to interact with diverse customer populations (internal and external).
  • Responsibility for and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to project schedule needs for on-time project completion.
  • Ability to handle change under pressure.
  • Creative and strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision.
  • Contribute effectively in team environments.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
