Job summary

Arkansas Children’s Hospital’s Information Technology department is seeking a Day Shift, Full-time IT support professional on-site in Little Rock. The role covers installation, maintenance, and support of computer and network systems, with a salary range of $21.70 to $27.10 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate’s degree recommended.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Maintains desktop hardware/software and network support.
  • Receives and responds to incoming calls, pages and/or emails regarding computer systems and network problems.
  • Monitors, tests, and maintains end user connectivity to network computer systems.
  • Performs on-site analysis, diagnostics, and resolution of complex system problems.
  • Develops and maintains an inventory of hubs, routers, switches, bridges, server boxes, cabling, and other networking equipment.
  • Documents instances of systems and network failure, repair, installation, and removal.
  • Performs hardware and peripheral equipment upgrades and repairs.
  • Assists in performing systems backups and recovery.
  • Aids in development of business continuity and disaster recovery plans and responds to crises accordingly.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management, commensurate with knowledge and experience.
  • Rotating On-Call Pager.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Work Shift: Day Shift Time Type: Full time Department: CC017130 Information Technology Summary: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. — On-site Salary: Most new hires start between $21.70-$27.10 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Additional Information: This position will support and maintain in-house technology equipment and IT assets. This includes installation, maintenance, and general support of computer and network systems. Monitor systems ensuring optimal performance and address end-user hardware and software request.

Required Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent Recommended Education: Associate's Degree in a related field of study.
