Utah Transit Authority is seeking a systems support professional to resolve requests and incidents, assist with server and data infrastructure installs, and manage backups and recovery. The role involves monitoring availability, applying patches, and supporting upgrades as part of a project team.
The candidate should have an associate degree in IT and relevant certifications, with experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware ESX, and Linux/Unix environments.
JOB SUMMARY Provides support and resolution of support requests. Support for installs of new server and data infrastructure, firmware, software releases and security updates and application patches. Assist in the resolution of hardware and software related problems in the infrastructure. Assist in monitoring and performing system backups and recovery. Monitoring server and data infrastructure availability. Participates in projects such as system installation and upgrades as assigned. Works under direct supervision.

Associates degree in a field related to computer hardware, software, or information systems
Preferred IT related professional certifications such as but not limited to:
Two (2) years of directly related work experience in:
Pay Rate: $27.84 per hour or more depending on experience
