Job summary

Motorola Solutions in Detroit, MI is seeking a technically skilled engineer to implement, maintain, and enhance system rules and integrations within an Agile environment for Radio Online Application (ROL) capabilities.

You will work with JavaScript, LMR product architecture (ASTRO 25, MOTOTRBO, MCC7500E, AXS Consoles), Jira for defect tracking, and cloud testing practices, while training peers and supporting users.

Job Description

In this role, you will implement, maintain, and enhance system rules and integrations within a dynamic, Agile environment. Working within a collaborative, small-scale team, you will ensure seamless system design and support core Radio Online Application (ROL) capabilities. You will help to provide intuitive user experiences, elevate continuous integration practices, and empower team members through technical support and shared training sessions. Key Responsibilities

System Development & Modeling

• Develop and maintain system rules and models using JavaScript variables, loops, and functions to align with company guidelines
• Refine the application and manage defects in an Agile environment using Jira

Testing & System Support

• Conduct comprehensive integration and system testing across cloud environments
• Provide technical support and facilitate training sessions for application users

Continuous Skill Enhancement

• Participate in advanced JavaScript training and specialized workshops focused on testing techniques and continuous delivery practices

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering, IT, or a technical field with 3+ years of technical experience
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Target Base Salary Range:$105,000 $115,000
