Qualifications You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.
• Experience / coursework with one or more of the following: System Security Engineering, Anti-Tamper, Cybersecurity, Embedded Systems Security, Embedded Hardware, Embedded Software, Real-time Embedded Systems

Experience may be obtained through job experience, research, coursework or projects

Qualifications We Prefer

• Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or related fields
• Applied engineering experience or coursework with exposure in one or more of the following domains: systems engineering, software or firmware development, systems integration and/or test, ASIC development, digital electronics design, model-based systems engineering, or similar work history.
• Experience supporting DoD programs or a working knowledge of DoD directives such as DODI-S-5230.28
• Expertise in attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information (CPI) assessments
• Active/Current DoD security clearance
• Exceptional creativity, problem-solving abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Prior internship, co-op, or work experience.

This position requires ability to obtain a security clearance. The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
