Job description

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm supporting Federal Government clients, providing services in Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

We are seeking a Systems Security Administrator to work with a technology division within the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This role requires strong system administration knowledge and attention to detail. This position is contingent upon contract award. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Establishing and managing Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC) for various systems including UFMS-SC, WIRE, AMS, IPP, OTCNet, and G-Invoicing.
  2. Coordinating with ISSOs and support personnel to ensure proper user access implementation and maintenance.
  3. Recommending and creating user security groups, profiles, and roles to ensure compliance.
  4. Managing user access, including adding, modifying, and deleting accounts, with adherence to policies.
  5. Reviewing and responding to user access requests and developing procedures for managing changes.
  6. Developing and maintaining SOPs, user guidance documentation, and reports on user access.
  7. Conducting annual user recertifications and validating access requests.
  8. Obtaining training on supported applications' security functionalities.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must hold an active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance.
  • Undergraduate degree, preferably in math or science.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in systems security administration and analyzing complex problems.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work onsite at FBI facilities in the Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA)/NCR.

Salary Range

$100,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience and education.
