Job summary

Ideal Aerosmith in Grand Forks, ND is seeking a Systems Quality Engineer to ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of complex systems across development, integration, testing, and delivery. You will work across engineering, manufacturing, program, and customer teams to identify issues early and support corrective actions.

The role requires developing test plans, maintaining ICDs, tracking defects, participating in design reviews, and ensuring ISO 9001 and government/aerospace

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical field.
• Experience in systems quality engineering or system-level testing.
• Experience developing or executing test plans, inspection plans, or validation activities.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to analyze system-level quality issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Ability to communicate technical and quality information across teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and obtain a U.S. passport.
• U.S. citizenship, permanent resident, or protected status per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement system-level test plans and test cases.
• Create and maintain ICDs for system integration.
• Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements and test strategies.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Identify project and quality risks and mitigation plans.
• Participate in design reviews and provide quality input.
• Ensure ISO 9001 compliance and align with quality processes.
• Support customer-facing quality activities and communicate technical information.
