Job summary

U.S. Water Services Corporation/BCI in Fort Myers, Florida, is hiring a Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater projects. Responsibilities include reviewing project specifications, managing project implementation, and ensuring all documentation is completed. The ideal candidate will have management experience and technical knowledge of water processes.

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and answer questions about the project.
• Review Plans & Specification for the project and understand the scope of work.
• Provide information and guidance for the hardware and software design.
• Review, approve, and submit submittal packages produced by teams.
• Create purchase requests for materials for the project.
• Schedule personnel resources for the project.
• Review the instrumentation and control panel builds.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of the project.
• Oversee creation of the O&M Manuals.
• Provide all close out documents.

Skills

Familiar with Water and Wastewater processes

Project Management experience

Read and Understand project Specifications and Drawings

Read Control System Electrical Schematics

Familiar with AutoCAD Electrical software

Understand PLC coding

Know how to use PLC development software (Allen‑Bradley, Modicon, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Attend project meetings and be able to answer questions about the project
• Review Plans & Specification for the project and understand the scope of work and all instrumentation and control required
• Providing information and guidance for the hardware design of the system
• Providing information and guidance for the software design of the system
• Review, approve, and submit submittal packages produced by the hardware and software teams
• Create purchase request for the materials for the project
• Schedule personnel resources for the project
• Review the instrumentation and control panel builds as they are occurring
• Oversee Installation and commissioning of the project
• Oversee the creation of the O&M Manuals
• Providing all close out documents

Note: the skill sets are the ideal set skills for a project manager. I know it is going to be hard to find someone with all the skill sets listed so with each applicant we will have to judge what can live without and what they can learn over time.
