Your Specific Responsibilities

• This position provides operational and system support for the information technology systems requirements within the office.
• Ensures Inspection Team members have pertinent information on alerted data sets to ensure follow up and reviews data sets and provides audit information to necessary DOH staff.
• Assist with the design, planning, implementation, and change management of the Medical Use Registry, Seed-to-Sale data system, and licensure compliance information system as assigned.
• Participate in status meetings for internal and external stakeholders, including management, subject matter experts, vendors, and end users.
• Responsible for documenting and notifying external/internal stakeholders of any bugs that are found and track to resolution.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for office data systems, and licensure compliance information system, as assigned.
• Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to analyze business needs and system functionality to deliver analytical reports, requirement documents, and UAT Scripts, as needed.
• Provide end-user technical assistance, as needed, to support efficient operation of the information technology systems.
• Develop and implement guidelines, tools, and training for conducting technical support. Coordinate discrepancies with external stakeholders.
• Ensure that the data for the information technology is secure and protected in coordination with DOH policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Proficient computer skills to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar; communicating effectively with others in writing; talking to others to effectively convey information; understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents; knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures and government rules & regulations; knowledge of basic quality assurance principles and practices; knowledge of API technology and Postman; knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis; knowledge of computer data bases; knowledge and use of the compliance management system and licensing system used by the Agency; ability to collect, evaluate and analyze data through various data query languages and software (i.e. SQL, QLIK, Crystal Reporting); ability to organize data into logical format for presentation in reports, documents and other written materials; ability to conduct fact finding research; ability to utilize problem-solving techniques; ability to work independently; ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; AND
• 2 years of professional experience in creating requirement documents; creating and conducting UAT scripts via API for an online system; implementing customization and/or updates to information technology systems; providing end-user technical assistance; inputting and maintaining information in an online licensing system; monitoring the security of data in information technology systems; documenting workflow; systems analysis; program research and evaluation.
• A valid Driver's License, participation in direct deposit, satisfactorily complete a background investigation, and fingerprinting are requirements for employment.
