The Division of Technology is dedicated to leveraging innovation, collaboration, and efficiency to empower progress, enhance digital infrastructure, and ensure technological advancements benefit society as a whole.
This position will be a lead position on the Network Infrastructure Team. The incumbent assists the team manager with strategic planning for the agency’s projects, and aids in the cross‑training of other team members. The incumbent prepares documentation of processes and procedures, and functions as a technical guide and resource for teammates. This position deals with a wide range of technologies, including, but not limited to servers, enterprise applications, networking, and telecommunications systems. This position is responsible for the deployment, maintenance, security and decommission of listed technologies, as well as the implementation of new technologies that aid in the modernization and optimization of the agency. This position is in an On Call rotation.
Successful applicant must pass a Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as a condition of employment. All positions within the Division of Technology are considered to be positions of special trust in accordance with Sections 110.1127 and 425.04, Florida Statutes.
