Job summary

Quanta Consultancy Services Ltd is seeking a Systems Owner for the US (Ohio) on an initial 12-month contract to drive delivery of a next-generation Life Sciences facility. You will act as the single point of contact for Synthesis system queries across construction status, installation, and readiness, covering reactors, vessels, dryers, piping and utilities.

You will support the Construction Quality Lead (CQL) to ensure installed systems meet approved requirements, monitor progress, and escalate

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of API/Synthesis equipment and utilities.
• Experience coordinating across process, mechanical, and automation disciplines.
• Familiarity with GMP and cGMP construction practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as single point of contact for Synthesis system queries on construction, installation and readiness.
• Support the Construction Quality Lead (CQL) in confirming installed Synthesis systems align with approved requirements, identifying and escalating discrepancies.
• Monitor installation progress across Synthesis process equipment and piping to ensure systems meet intended operational needs.
• Review field changes and as-built updates for Synthesis systems, escalating design-related matters when needed.

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a Systems Owner to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What you’ll deliver:

• Act as single point of contact for Synthesis system queries on construction status, installation, and readiness – covering process reactors, vessels, centrifuges, dryers, transfer piping, and associated utility tie-ins (WFI, nitrogen, steam, chilled water).
• Support the Construction Quality Lead (CQL) in confirming installed Synthesis systems align with approved requirements, identifying and escalating discrepancies.
• Monitor installation progress across Synthesis process equipment and piping to ensure systems meet intended operational needs.
• Review field changes and as-built updates for Synthesis systems, escalating design-related matters to the Design Verification Lead (DVL).

What you’ll need:

• Strong system-level coordination and organizational skills, with working knowledge of API/Synthesis process equipment (reactors, vessels, centrifuges, dryers) and associated utilities.
• Effective stakeholder communication and influencing ability across process, mechanical, and automation disciplines.
• Solid understanding of construction, MechanicalCompletion, and C&Q processes for Synthesis/Drug Substance manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with GMP requirements and cGMP synthesis suite construction practices.
• Ability to identify risks and drive issue resolution proactively across process systems.
