Job summary

Arnold Oil Company of Austin LP is seeking an experienced Systems & Microsoft 365 Administrator to safeguard and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure. You will manage Windows environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 services, while supporting networking gear and VoIP systems.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of Windows client support in a corporate environment.
  • Deep knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365 and security controls (Entra ID, MFA, CA, endpoint compliance).
  • Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and OS.
  • Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions (site-to-site and client-based).
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support for end-user applications and remote laptops.
  • Administer Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
  • Maintain system and software license inventories; manage VoIP infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and SOPs.

# Systems & Microsoft 365 Administrator (9001)Hot JobARNOLD OIL COMPANY OF AUSTIN LP - AUSTIN, TX 78744## OverviewPosition TypeFull Time## Description**Overview**The Systems Administrator II is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of the organization’s IT infrastructure. This includes desktop, server, network, and cloud administration with a strong focus on delivering reliable services to end users.**Key Responsibilities*** Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and operating systems* Manage routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN solutions (site-to-site and client-based)* Provide Tier 2/3 support for end-user applications and remote laptop users* Administer and support Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune and security/compliance features* Maintain system and software license inventories* Deploy, configure, and manage VoIP infrastructure* Perform racking, installation, and cabling as needed* Configure and troubleshoot wireless networks and related technologies* Develop and maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, and SOPs* Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance with best practices for identity management, endpoint security, and data protection## Qualifications**Job Requirements*** Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Windows clients in a corporate environment* Deep knowledge of the Windows operating system, Active Directory, and Group Policy* Strong PC hardware expertise and ability to resolve complex hardware/software issues* Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking and Windows domain environments* Proven experience administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, etc.)* Experience with Microsoft 365 identity and security controls, including Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and endpoint compliance.* Experience with VPN client installation and troubleshooting* Ability to detect, mitigate, and recover from malware and security incidents* Excellent written and oral communication skills with a focus on high-quality documentation* Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environments* Professional demeanor, strong work ethic, and customer-first approach* Willingness to provide off-hours on-call support and travel regionally as required**Education Requirements*** High School Degree or GED* College Degree Preferred
