World Class Defence Organisation is recruiting a Systems Lead - RF Data Link subcontractor for an initial 12-month contract. The role will involve technical leadership of a small team, requirements definition, and systems design for RF data link subsystems across a major weapons system.

Hybrid/remote options with 4–5 days onsite at Bristol/Stevenage, depending on workload. The successful candidate will need SC clearance and have strong RF design knowledge, plus proven ability to manage timelines

World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit a Systems Lead - RF Data Link subcontractor on an initial 12 month contract., The Data Link Systems team is responsible for the development the RF communications sub-systems within a weapons system. Our team is located at both our Bristol and Stevenage sites. The successful applicant could be primarily located at either. The role provides a unique opportunity to apply your skills within a growing company and multi-skilled team. It will provide exposure to complex and technologically and advanced projects and products. Working with highly talented and motivated engineers, in a friendly and supportive environment.

Skillset / Experience Required

• The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC clearance.

Remuneration & Working Conditions

• Rate: £85.00 per hour
• Overtime Rate: Hours worked over 37 hours per week will be calculated at 'time and a quarter'
• Location: Stevenage or Bristol (depending on your preference)
• Hybrid / Remote working: 4-5 days per week onsite, possible change to this depending on workload. A 4-day week (Monday to Thursday is possible).
• Contract: 37 Hours per week
• Duration: 12 months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)
• IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)
