Job description

The Systems Integrator will support the JETS II contract in Houston, TX.


Responsibilities:

  • Understand complex systems, interfaces, and interdependencies.
  • Apply model-based systems engineering best practices to develop system models.
  • Develop interface control documents.
  • Experience with software development across architectures.
  • Experience with autonomous systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status due to the sensitivity of information.
  • Experience in space industry or DoD work.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • Experience with software verification and validation.
  • Experience with complex distributed systems.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ in a Linux environment.
  • Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS NG.
  • Experience with web-based collaboration tools.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with tools such as Confluence, Gitlab, JIRA, MS Teams, Slack, SharePoint.
  • Proven success in collaborative projects.
  • Ability to succeed in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Highly responsible, team-oriented, with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent written communication and diagramming skills.
  • Experience with Python scripting and agile development.
  • Knowledge of NASA software standards and Gateway Spacecraft systems, including CFS.

Work Location:

  • Onsite position.
  • 9/80 schedule, every other Friday off.
  • May require some travel.

Background Investigations:

All employees must pass a national agency check; some positions require clearance and extensive background verification.


Drug and Alcohol Screening:

Pre-employment drug screening required; some contracts require periodic testing.
