Job summary

Scientific Research Corporation is seeking an experienced Systems Integrator in Jacksonville, FL, to lead the integration of avionics, flight management, and sensors on military platforms. You will ensure cyber-hardened networking across subsystems from multiple vendors and collaborate with safety engineers for airworthiness and FAA compliance.

The role requires 8+ years in defense aerospace system integration and proficiency with MS Office, including MS Project. Travel is 10-15%.

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of hands-on system integration experience in defense aerospace or military aviation sectors.
• Experience with MS Office products, including MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Leading the physical, electrical, and logical integration of avionics, flight management systems, links, and sensors onto military platforms.
• Ensuring subsystems from multiple vendors mesh into a single cyber-hardened, reliable network for mission success.
• Collaborating with safety engineers to meet military airworthiness and FAA regulations where applicable.
• Creating and maintaining ICDs, wiring diagrams, safety assessments, and configuration baselines.
• Authoring and executing laboratory, ground, and flight-test verification plans for interoperability and performance.
• Coordinating with tier-2 suppliers and OEMs to resolve interface issues and enforce SOW compliance.

Description

• Leading the physical, electrical, and logical integration of advanced avionics, flight management systems, communication links, and sensor suites onto military platforms
• Ensuring that separate subsystems built by a variety of defense vendors mesh into a single, cyber-hardened, and highly reliable network for mission success
• Collaborating with safety engineers to ensure all integrated systems meet military airworthiness certification standards and FAA regulations where applicable
• Creating and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs), wiring diagrams, systems safety assessments, and configuration baselines
• Authoring, coordinating, and executing rigorous laboratory, ground, and flight-test verification plans to validate aircraft subsystem interoperability and performance
• Coordinating directly with tier-2 aerospace suppliers and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to resolve interface control issues and enforce statement of work (SOW) compliance

• Prefer Navy P-8 experience but will consider P-3 or commercial aircraft experience
