Job summary

Lockheed Martin at Joint Integrated Test and Training Center – Nellis (JITTC-N), NV, is seeking a Systems Integration and Test Engineer to develop and oversee test plans to integrate new simulations. You will work across teams to ensure robust test coverage and successful delivery.

You will apply Linux expertise and software integration skills to drive testing, coordinate with cross-functional partners, and uphold IT security and compliance in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, with a focus on Linux, Linux Red Hat and software integration.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills to support test planning and execution.

Responsibilities

• Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation.
• Conduct systems integration & testing of existing simulators and analyze the trends of device performances on the JTB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
• Utilize software integration expertise including DISS, Grid computing and HLA.
• Run test scripts, test cases, and test data to support integration testing.
• Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and procedures, maintaining the integrity of the system.
• Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and overseeing test plans to integrate new simulations. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, with a focus on Linux, Linux Red Hat and software integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation.
• Conduct systems integration & testing of existing simulators and analyze the trends of device performances on the JTB.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements.
• Utilize expertise in software integration, including Distributed Interactive Simulation (Diss); Grid computing; High-Level Architecture (HLA).
• Run test scripts, test cases, and test data to support integration testing.
• Ensure compliance with IT security protocols and procedures, maintaining the integrity of the system.
• Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

Full-Time Salary Range: $104900.00 - $194700.00

• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
