Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is offering an internship in Integration/Test Engineering in Carlsbad, CA. You will assist with setup, configuration, and documentation of hardware and software under test, and contribute to test plan development and results presentations.

As a pursuing student in Electrical Engineering or related field, you will engage in testing, analysis, and collaboration with customers while gaining exposure to systems engineering practices and verification activities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of communications systems, software programming languages, automated softwaretest, networks, network security, power systems, antennas, RF, and/or mechanicaldesign and analysis
• Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification, software scripting andusage of automated testing frameworks and application

Responsibilities

• Support the set-up, configuration, and documentation of hardware and softwaresystems under test, including loading software onto multiple devices
• Support design, development, and implementation of cost-effective procedures fortesting and troubleshooting of components, sub-assemblies, assemblies, andsystems
• Support development of test plans, test procedures, requirements traceability, testreports, test flow, and test case design and implementation
• Document testing issues and failures and perform analysis of test results
• Support formal systems acceptance testing activities
• Present test strategies, plans, and results to internal and external customers
• Support failure investigation activities and failure review board (FRB) meetings
