Systems Integration/Test Engineer - 2nd Shift

Location: Chelmsford, MA

Pay Range: $65-79

Second Shift Hours: Mon-Thurs, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM

Job Description:

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems, and systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs into system test solutions considering technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Establishes specifications and standards, resolves hardware/software interface issues, defines input/output parameters, and ensures system integration. Develops and executes comprehensive test plans, procedures, and schedules, and coordinates testing activities. Analyzes test results, prepares evaluation reports, and verifies system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs regression testing to validate fixes.

Basic Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office for reporting and planning.
  • Experience supporting software using LabVIEW and/or TestStand.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Teamwork experience.
  • Self-directed work approach.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of professional experience preferred.
  • Experience measuring electrical parameters for components/subassemblies.
  • Subject matter expertise in RF or Microwave systems.
  • Experience developing complex test programs with NI LabVIEW/TestStand.
  • Component research and specification for test equipment.
  • Troubleshooting measurement issues.
  • Proficiency with engineering documentation.
  • Experience with corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ability to derive test requirements from system specs.
  • Strong collaboration skills across disciplines.
  • Experience preparing technical presentations.
