Job summary

Sigma Defense is currently seeking a Systems Integration Technician to support the Army NetMod program, focusing on system integration, testing, and fielding of secure tactical networks.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years as a System Technician or related roles, 3+ years DoD experience, and the ability to obtain DoD 8570/8410 IAT Level II. U.S. citizenship and a Secret clearance or higher are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a System Technician or similar system engineering activities.
• 3+ years in DoD supporting systems engineering technologies preferred.
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, reliable networks in military environments.
• Experience integrating existing infrastructures with new tactical network components.
• Ability to obtain DoD 8570/8410 IAT Level II.
• Familiarity with data link layers, routing protocols, and encryption.
• Experience with embedded systems testing and integration testing.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with system users to translate requirements into system designs.
• Participates in development of test strategies for fielded networks.
• Assist in developing solutions to systems engineering challenges based on tech insertion.
• Maintain knowledge of Tactical Network hardware and software for battlefield communications.
• Install unit configurations and IPs based on the latest system architecture.
• Ensure NetMod and Mission Network FMC after Fielding/Upgrade for missions.
