Job summary

Leidos is seeking a System Integration Engineer in the Intel Sector to install, configure, develop, and integrate prototype applications for technical evaluation in a lab setting. You will support customers and experiments in a fast-paced environment with collaboration across teams.

Qualified candidates must have a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, a related degree, and strong Linux/system administration experience. Enhanced incentives include up to a $25K sign-on or a PTO bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, forensics, information assurance or systems engineering.
• Must possess an IAT-I certification such as Network+ CE or Security+ CE.
• Strong Linux experience and experience in network/system administration.

We are seeking a highly motivated System Integration Engineer with proven experience in installing, configuring, developing, and integrating prototype applications for technical evaluation. The engineer will be supporting a lab environment providing support for customers developing and testing experiments.

Qualified candidates are eligible for enhanced incentives including up to a $25K cash sign on bonus or a paid time off bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5-years of relevant experience, or master's degree plus 3-years of relevant experience or an associate's degree plus 7-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 9-years of relevant experience may be considered.
• Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• Must possess an IAT-I certification , such as Network + CE or Security + CE.
• Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.
• Strong Linux experience
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
• Experience supporting hardware installation, such as servers and network infrastructure.
• Experience setting up storage such as network-attached storage.
• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages like Bash, Bourne, or C.

Security Clearance Requirement

• Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph to be considered for this role.

Desirable Skills

• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments like AWS
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) products like Terraform, SALT and Ansible as well as system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS
