Job summary

Responsibilities

• Support a lab environment that provides support for customers developing and testing experiments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus 3 years, or associate’s degree plus 7 years, or high school diploma/GED plus 9 years; degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Must possess an IAT‑I certification such as Network+ CE or Security+ CE.
• Relevant experience in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, and/or systems engineering; experience in network or system administration.
• Strong Linux experience.
• Experience in systems/network administration, application administration, and/or information technology support or management.
• Experience supporting hardware installation such as servers and network infrastructure.
• Experience setting up storage such as network‑attached storage.
• Experience implementing security best practices to include PKI certificate generation, deployment and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Unix shell scripting languages such as Bash, Bourne, or C.

Security Clearance Requirement

• Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.

Desirable Skills

• Experience deploying and maintaining nginx.
• Familiarity with Docker and RedHat Satellite.
• Familiarity with cloud computing environments such as AWS.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code products such as Terraform, SALT, and Ansible, and with system monitoring platforms like Prometheus and Grafana.
• Experience with SELinux and FIPS.

Benefits and Compensation

Pay Range: $73,450.00 – $132,775.00. Qualified candidates may also receive a cash sign‑on bonus up to $25 K or a paid time‑off bonus. Additional benefits include paid time off, 11 paid holidays, 401 K with 6 % company match, flexible schedules, stock purchase plans, technical upskilling, education and training support, and parental paid leave.
