Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer, Lead, to help shape national security space missions. You will translate real-world needs into technical specs and collaborate across government and contractor teams to deliver integrated space, ground, and user solutions.

The role requires extensive DoD program experience, strong MBSE skills, and a security clearance. You will contribute to top-priority space initiatives and work in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of systems engineering or integration experience in DoD satellite or ground systems.
  • 5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews (SRR, SDR, SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, PCA).
  • 2+ years of risk management experience on space, ground, software war, or hardware MDPs.
  • Experience with ground monitoring stations for GPS.
  • Ability to use a Model-Based Systems Engineering approach to manage system definitions and baselines.
  • Secret clearance and Bachelor’s degree required.

You will be an integral part of the engineering branch to assist the government in ensuring space, ground, and user segments and external stakeholders are integrated successfully to meet user needs. Your expertise and innovative thinking will be critical to ensuring capabilities are delivered to meet the threat.

You Have:
  • 10+ years of experience performing systems engineering or integration in DoD satellite systems or ground systems
  • 5+ years of experience with space system and DoD program reviews, including SRR, SDR and SFR, PDR, CDR, MRR, TRR, FCA, and PCA
  • 2+ years of experience performing risk management on space, ground, software war, or hardwar e system Major Defense Acquisition Programs
  • Experience with ground monitoring stations for GPS
  • Experience using a Model‑Based Systems Engineering or digital engineering approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
  • Ability to be highly motivated, display a dynamic work ethic, and contribute to the DoD mission
  • Ability to effectively communicate, work collaboratively on a cross‑functional team and independently, and demonstrate initiative to complete complex tasks to achieve program goals in a fast‑paced environment
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with GPS, PNT, or NAVWAR
  • Experience with a software war program utilizing Agile methodologies
  • Experience working with software war factories or DevSecOps pipelines
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CS
  • Agile Certification such as CSM, CPO, PMI-ACP, or ICP Certification
  • INCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certifications such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract‑specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.

Work Model
  • Remote: If this position is listed as remote, there may still be occasions when you are required to work in person at a Booz Allen or customer facility.
  • Hybrid: If this position is listed as hybrid, you will be expected to work from a Booz Allen facility frequently, in alignment with leadership expectations and the needs of the role. You may also be required to work from or visit a customer facility.
