Job summary

Quantum-Si is seeking a Systems Integration Engineer to drive end-to-end integration testing for Proteus, coordinating hardware, software, optics, and workflow components. You will troubleshoot, analyze data, and develop test plans to improve product reliability in customer workflows.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in engineering and 2–5 years in system integration. Proficiency in Python and DOE-based analysis is preferred. Based in San Diego, CA with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 2–5 years of system integration or related engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with hardware, software, firmware, optics, and instrumentation.
• Proficiency in DOE or statistical analysis (e.g., JMP/Minitab) and data interpretation.
• Experience with Python scripting for data analysis and automation.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support end-to-end system integration testing ensuring components function cohesively.
• Identify and resolve moderately complex system integration issues using structured root-cause methods.
• Assist in creating, refining, and executing test plans, protocols, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate across engineering, software, applications, and operations to resolve interdependencies.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret instrument performance data and prepare technical summaries.
• Evaluate instrument performance in customer-relevant workflows including sample prep interfaces and sequencing runs.
