Job summary

Associates Systems LLC in Colorado Springs seeks Systems Engineers specializing in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). You will develop system models using SysML and lead the transition to a fully integrated MBSE environment.

Job description

Systems Engineers - Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Location: Onsite, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Security clearance: Active Secret or higher.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing system models using SysML.
• Proficiency with industry-standard MBSE tools (e.g., Cameo, Rhapsody) and requirements management platforms (e.g., DOORS Next Gen).
• Deep understanding of MBSE frameworks and methodologies, with the ability to apply to complex aerospace or defense systems.
• Ability to think strategically and lead initiatives to transition an organization from traditional engineering to a fully integrated MBSE and Digital Engineering environment.
• Proven experience driving the full systems engineering process, including stakeholder engagement, comprehensive requirements development and management, system design, and verification & validation (V&V).

Qualifications

• Active INCOSE certification (ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP) is highly desired.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $150k to $185k+ for the right candidate. Company‑paid benefits include Health, Dental, and Vision. W2 consultant options are available with company‑paid benefits.
