Job summary

Credence seeks a Systems Engineering Manager to lead engineering across the product lifecycle for Army PM PNT programs. You will guide SE processes, manage risks, and coordinate technical reviews with a focus on DoD requirements and DoDAF artifacts.

The role requires active security clearance, a strong DoD systems engineering background, and the ability to align engineering efforts with program goals and schedules. Maryland-based position with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active secret security clearance is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or systems engineering with 10 years of DoD systems experience or Master’s degree with 8 years of DoD systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of systems engineering processes and documentation, including SEPs, configuration management plans, risk management plans, and IMS.
• Oversee systems engineering activities for classified and unclassified PM PNT products, including requirements analysis, development, derivation, system design and architecture, modeling and simulation, integration and testing, hardware/software validation, host platform integration, and field demonstrations.
• Lead engineering coordination for technical reviews (SSR, SRR, SFR, PDR, CDR, PRR, FCA, PCA); assess readiness and oversee issue resolution.
• Guide engineering participation in IPTs, working groups, and technical meetings, coordinating SME inputs and developing actionable PM PNT leadership recommendations.
• Oversee the integration of PM PNT products with client systems on Army platforms, addressing DOTMLPF impacts, interoperability, sustainment, and doctrine.
• Ensure systems engineering activities and documentation align with DoD guidance and IEEE 1220; guide DoDAF products and other engineering artifacts across requirements and program plans.
• Lead technical assessments of existing products and emerging PNT technologies; evaluate requirements, materiel solutions, applications, strategies, and training for feasibility and alignment with objectives.
• Provide engineering oversight for sensor design; hardware, software, and network integration; experimentation; and demonstrations of PM PNT products and technologies.
• Oversee technical data artifact reviews and maintenance of requirements databases to support analysis and program planning.
