Job summary

L3Harris Technologies invites applications for an Intern, Systems Engineering. This role is based in Forest, VA, following a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off.

The intern will perform operational analysis, develop concepts of operations, and support the evaluation of complex system designs for national security projects. The position requires pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field, with coursework in systems engineering and familiarity with Rhapsody.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or related field.
• Experience or coursework in systems engineering, architecture, analysis and design, performance modeling, integration and project management.
• Familiar with Rhapsody.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans
• Develop test plans, procedures & cases
• Conduct tests and document results
• Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
• Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users
• Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers
