Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Alpharetta, GA is seeking a Systems Engineering Intern to support operational analysis, develop concept of operations, design and implement plans, and contribute to test plans and procedures. The internship follows the 9/80 schedule: work 9 of 14 days totaling 80 hours with every other Friday off.

Candidates pursuing a Bachelor's degree in related engineering or science fields will join a team performing system requirements analysis, modeling, and presenting design

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the specified engineering/science fields.
• Relevant coursework in systems engineering or MBSE is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans.
• Develop test plans, procedures & cases.
• Conduct tests and document results.
• Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting.
• Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users.
• Support development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures.
• Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers.
