Job summary

Applied Research Solutions in Littleton, CO seeks Systems Engineers to support a 7-year NGA program. You will join a Scrum team, assist with UI design, training materials, and system modeling while ensuring proper software architecture and mission alignment.

The role requires a BS in a related field, 5–7 years of experience, and an active TS/SCI with poly eligibility. Knowledge of Jira/Confluence and cloud/web frameworks is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in systems engineering, software engineering, or related field.
• 5–7 years of direct systems engineering experience.
• Experience with Jira and Confluence artifacts.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and modern web frameworks.
• Experience in AGILE software scrum teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, UX designers, developers, testers, and end users to translate needs into system/interface requirements.
• Contribute wireframes, interaction flows, usability feedback, interface specs, and workflow diagrams for UI/UX.
• Develop system models (data flow, sequence, interface control) to support design and communication.
• Perform system analysis to identify constraints and integration needs across components.
• Support architectural decisions by evaluating requirements and system behavior.
• Maintain system-level documentation and configuration artifacts.
• Create training materials (guides, sheets, videos) for onboarding and operation.
• Deliver training sessions or demonstrations to stakeholders and leadership.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
