Job summary

Capstone Research Corporation in Huntsville, AL seeks a System Engineer (Test) to develop and execute system-level test plans, verify performance, and support lab, integration, and field test events. You will analyze data, document results, and recommend corrective actions in collaboration with DoD programs.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's in Engineering or CS, 3+ years in systems engineering or test, and the ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience supporting systems engineering, integration, verification, validation, or test engineering activities.
• Knowledge of systems engineering principles and the system development lifecycle.
• Experience developing and executing test plans and procedures.
• Ability to analyze technical data and prepare clear, concise reports.
• Must be US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Verify system performance against technical requirements and specifications.
• Support the planning, coordination, and execution of laboratory, integration, and field test events.
• Analyze test data and document results, findings, and recommendations.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and document system deficiencies and support corrective actions.
• Participate in requirements reviews, design reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
• Support customer demonstrations, system acceptance testing, and operational evaluations as required.
• Ensure testing activities comply with applicable engineering processes, standards, and quality requirements.
