Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor seeks a Systems Engineer - Supplier Management to develop, improve, and maintain engineering apps for the Material Technology team. You will collaborate with material engineers to implement processes that boost performance and efficiency in a fast-paced FAB environment.

The role requires a BS in a science/engineering field, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency in Python, GIT, VBA, API, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer/Electrical/Chemical/Material Science, Physics, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or related field.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with scripting languages: Python, GIT, VBA.
• Data stream server knowledge: API, SQL, PostGres.
• Familiarity with code revision, bug patches, and release notes (GIT).

Responsibilities

• Perform routine monitoring of system usage, speed, accuracy.
• Provide automated solutions for factory quality issues to improve detectability and streamline tasks.
• Manage parallel projects in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Identify innovative solutions to supplier challenges; perform ROI and risk assessments.
• Drive operational improvements to streamline and challenge the status quo.
• Support material-related investigations through data analysis and data connections.
• Create Functional Requirements documents and user guides for applications.
