Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mid-Career Systems Engineer to join a multidisciplinary team responsible for designing and certifying missile defense technology that enhances national security and deterrence capabilities.

Responsibilities include leading meetings, supporting SRR/PDR/CDR reviews, and maintaining configuration control. A technical degree and active Secret clearance are required, with potential for advanced responsibilities on NGI programs.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. The Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is in search of a Mid-Career Systems Engineer to be part of the multi-disciplined engineering team responsible for designing and certifying missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to conflict.

Duties and responsibilities may include, but are limited to the following:

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $85300.00 - $158300.00
