Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
Assesses current operations and networks within a company to identify potential issues in the system. Then, they proceed to create a more efficient system architecture. They monitor computer networks, research software and hardware, and provide directions to the IT team. A senior systems engineer analyzes existing company networks and operations to pinpoint possible system problems, then designs a more efficient system architecture. This role also includes overseeing computer networks, researching software and hardware, and managing the IT team.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities
- Responsible for maintaining the operations, ongoing and new IT initiatives and upgrades, evaluation of new software, and engineering support for all production, development, and disaster recovery environments.
- Will design and support ongoing efforts to achieve efficiencies through automation using Powershell.
- Resolves and appropriately completes assigned cases and change requests and acts as an escalation for support issues.
- Applies new solutions through research and collaboration with the team and determines course of action for new application initiatives. Implements new software solutions as required by the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Extensive experience managing Windows Server environments, including administration, troubleshooting, security, and network configuration.
- Ideally Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Windows Server.

Posted Salary Range
USD $100,000.00 - USD $115,000.00 /Yr.
