Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA is seeking a Systems Engineer (Level 2) to develop and deliver SE products. The role involves requirements development, interface management, and close coordination with IPTs and external customers.

Candidates should have a STEM degree with 2 years (or a Master’s with 0) in Systems Engineering, hold a USG Secret clearance, and be able to obtain SAP/PAR access. Proficiency in Python and MBSE tools is a plus.

Qualifications

• Systems Engineer (Level 2) requires a STEM degree with 2 years of related experience or a Master's with 0 years.
• Active USG Secret clearance (with BI within past 5 years or in Continuous Evaluation).
• Ability to obtain and maintain initial SAP access via PAR before employment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain subsequent SAP/PAR access after employment.
• Experience with Python or other scripting language.

Responsabilités

• Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.
• Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
• Support interface/communication with program, functional and subsystem leads.
• Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts following configuration management procedures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to verify and validate Systems Engineering artifacts.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills to coordinate across IPTs and with external customers.
• Solicit input from stakeholders and synthesize data to communicate findings clearly.
