Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Rancho Bernardo, CA, seeks a Systems Engineer (Level 2) to develop and deliver SE products. The role requires a STEM degree with 2 years of related experience (or a Master’s in STEM), plus an active USG Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include requirements development, specifications, and coordination across IPTs and external customers. Knowledge of MBSE, DOORS, and Cameo is preferred, with potential for bonus and overtime as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related experience or Master’s degree with no related experience.
• Active USG Secret clearance (with background investigation within past 5 years or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation).
• Experience with Python or other scripting language.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.
• Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure verification and validation of Systems Engineering artifacts.
