Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Systems Engineer or Principal Systems Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team in Oklahoma City, OK, Melbourne, FL, Rancho Bernardo, CA, or Palmdale, CA. The role focuses on requirements development, verification, and interface management within a dynamic Systems Engineering organization.

The position requires active US government clearance (Secret or higher) and the ability to obtain SAP clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of relevant experience or Master's with related experience.
Strong ability to derive, decompose, and manage complex requirements.
Experience with DOORS and requirements traceability is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform requirements development, allocation, verification/validation planning and manage interface definition efforts.
Write complex specifications, interface control documents, and engineering reports.
Support interface/communication with program leads and subsystems.
Maintain Systems Engineering artifacts with proper configuration management.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure verification/validation of artifacts.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and leadership skills for cross-team coordination.
Synthesize data and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
