Job description

Centurion Consulting Group is seeking a highly qualified candidate for the Systems Engineer with a Top-Secret Clearance for an ON-SITE role. This position is for the Requirements Manager role within the Integrated Defensive Cyber Systems Contract. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex systems. This position is located near Lackland Air Force Base.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Preparing solution packages documenting recommended technical solutions and estimated costs and benefits.
2. Identifying, assessing, and presenting options for meeting the functional and technical requirements.
3. Producing artifacts including system design diagrams, recommendation justifications, and technical specifications.
4. Designing and implementing virtualization and containerization solutions, maintaining and upgrading datacenter virtualization, network virtualization, and cloud environments.
5. Designing system solutions that satisfy customer requirements and meet service delivery objectives.
6. Ensuring systems comply with relevant security standards and regulations, implementing security measures, and participating in security audits and assessments.
7. Leading the full project lifecycle from planning through implementation to operational readiness.
8. Leading technical discussions internally and with customer teams.
9. Resolving issues during implementation and systemic incident resolution.
10. Planning for scalability and implementing measures for efficient system growth.
11. Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans, testing procedures, and ensuring system resilience.
12. Implementing change management processes, assessing impacts, and coordinating change activities.
13. Providing training, documenting configurations and procedures, and fostering knowledge sharing within the team.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Master's with 6+ years of experience.
• Currently holding DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, e.g., Security+ CE.
• Must possess an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience with Cameo, digital engineering, SysML/UML for requirements modeling.
• Ability to decompose and derive requirements from existing content and system design.
• Experience capturing IDCS requirements and system capabilities at all levels, connecting to architectural baselines.
• Ability to define, validate requirements, and ensure operational alignment.
• Experience organizing technical projects and documentation, including site surveys if needed.
• Scripting experience and understanding of configuration management, mission, and system risk.

Preferred Qualifications

• DoD experience.
